Zusammenfassung:This report contains the results obtained from the study of the color-forming reaction of the secondary amine salts of 1,3-dioximinoacetone and p-toluenesulfonyl chloride. It was found that the reaction of 1,3-dioximinoacetone with p-toluenesulfonyl chloride in the presence of diethylamine, dibutylamine and piperidine yielded the 3-diethylamino-, 3-dibutylammino- and 3-piperidino-4- pyrazolone-1-oxides, respectively.
