Zusammenfassung: | The NMCSSC Quick-Reacting General War Gaming System (QUICK), is used to generate plans suitable for strategic war gaming and simulate execution of the planned events. An input data base is used to describe the weapons, targets, and geography to be considered in the war game. For ease in processing, weapon systems are divided into homogeneous 'types' and 'groups' according to certain weapon characteristics. The report discusses the requirements for defining a weapon system in QUICK, and identifies the data base entries which govern division of weapon into 'types' and 'groups'. It also refers to specific discussions within the QUICK Analytical Manual (NMCSSC CSM AM 9A-67) where the reader can learn how data entries are manipulated to form weapon group characteristics.
