Zusammenfassung: | The report discusses the possible stable occurrence of electrodeless high-frequency discharges in xenon at pressures ranging up to 40 atmospheres. Two structurally different discharge chambers were used. The aim of the tests was to determine the character of the dependence of the fraction of radiant losses in the total energy balance of the discharge on the full discharge power and pressure. Graphs are presented in illustration of these relations and the resultant findings are discussed. (Author)
