Zusammenfassung:	The invention pertains to an apparatus for checking automatic parachute units. The apparatus contains a pressure chamber connected via valves to a vacuum pump or to the atmosphere, a control console with controls and monitoring instruments, an optical system to permit the observation of the scale of the actuating-altitude resetting mechanism of the parachute unit being tested. This parachute unit is placed in the pressure chamber. The distinguishing feature of this apparatus is it is equipped with a parachute-priming actuating cylinder plus a remote-control unit operating the reset mechanism for the test altitude of the parachute unit.
