Zusammenfassung: | A self sealing slide bearing increases the reliability of sealing and the length of service. It contains a body in which inserts are fixed. The inserts press against sealing elements which are fixed in the body covers. For the above purpose, notches and projections are made on the joining surfaces of the body and the inserts. The notches and the projections respectively enter each other, are situated along an inclined line and move the inserts in the axial direction to press the face sealings. Pickups which operate when the inserts are moved, are fixed in the body and register the condition of the friction surfaces of the bearing. (Author)
