Compact heat Exchangers and Thermodynamic Investigations

The 24 year project had as its major goals: The generation, largely by model experiments, of the basic data needed for the heat transfer and flow friction design of compact heat exchangers; The formulation of heat exchanger design theory; The solution of special problems in heat exchanger design such as the optimum configuration of flow headers and the transient thermal response, as required for the development of system controls.
