A Theory for Simple Associations during Target Tracking
A process for calculating the probability of association of a measurement and a single forecast is derived for the simple case in which only one target out of m possibles is detected. Zusammenfassung: | A process for calculating the probability of association of a measurement and a single forecast is derived for the simple case in which only one target out of m possibles is detected. The probability is shown to be a function of the probability of detection of each target and the number of targets in addition to the q-dimensional measured and forecast positions and their distributions. An example is given of the calculation of this probablity for some simple cases. (Author) |
