On the Stability of Wing Shaped Warhead Fragements

Folded fragments can be made aerodynamically stable at high velocity by controlling only the fold-back dimension. Stability upon entry into a denser medium is strongly dependent upon aspect ratio. These results have significance in warhead design. (Author)
