Zusammenfassung: | A FORTRAN IV computer program for the solution of chemically nonreacting 2-D symmetric and axisymmetric jet and wake problems, which permits arbitrary initial and boundary conditions and assumptions for transport properties, was developed. Flow fields with pressure gradients and the heterogeneous mixing of two dissimilar gases were considered. An implicit finite difference method in the modified von Mises plane is used; the results, however, are printed out in the physical coordinates. The program needs about 60,000 memory cells and was written for CDC 6600 and the large versions of IBM 360 digital computers. It is found that a CDC 6600 computer can carry out the calculations for an x-interval of 2500 in about 5 to 7 minutes or less for most cases. (Author)
