HIGH-RATE BURST-ERROR-CORRECTING RECURRENT CODES

A bound, construction, and encoding-decoding procedure are presented for high-rate burst-error-correcting recurrent codes. The codes presented are closely related to well-known high-rate burst-error-correcting block codes. (Author) Report on the Theory and Applications of Automaton Theory.
