Zusammenfassung: | The report describes a method of bonding optical quartz glass to molybdenum, tungsten, or tantalum by frazing and heat treatment of the joint. To obtain a stress-free joint, the brazing (titanium-tin) alloy is placed between the parts, which are clamped together and heated in vacuum to 900-1000 degrees centigrade. In a modified version, the brazing alloy is made to melt at 1200-1250 degrees centigrade. (Author)
