Zusammenfassung: | Material requirements and their practical applications were investigated for planar coaxial interconnection technique development to achieve a vehicle with the desired electrical, mechanical, and chemical characteristics. A thorough survey of the dielectric material requirements was conducted with attention directed at the field of applicable plastics. Experiments were undertaken with fluorocarbons, such as Teflon FEP film with specially treated surfaces, and a variety of epoxide systems. A series of experiments was performed to provide center-line conductors for the coaxial systems. Two techniques were utilized, including the foil lamination method and chemical deposition techniques. The efforts indicate the feasiblity of an epoxide dielectric barrier with a laminated foil method for accomplishing the coaxial conductor system. (Author, modified). |
