Zusammenfassung: | This report describes the theoretical and experimental results obtained in a program of research aimed at the development of Pockels shutters as anti-flash devices. A theoretical analysis of the Pockels effect in all 32 crystal symmetry classes was carried out, and the results are presented here in summary form, and more completely in a separate report. Progress of the experimental program directed toward the growth of large single crystals of zincblende is also described. (Author) |
