Zusammenfassung: | Microwave and ultrasonic reflections from a liquid surface have been studied to determine the feasibility of their use in measuring liquid flow. Reflected ultrasonic pulses appear useful for measuring the change between static levels of large dimensions. However, for measuring small continuous changes the accuracy is not satisfactory. Microwave reflections provide an output that can be used for the measurement of total change in level or flow data.
