Zusammenfassung:Atmospheric attenuation measurements have been made for four seasons during 1962 and 1963 at Sagamore Hill, Hamilton, Massachusetts, at a wavelength of 3.27 cm. A definite seasonal trend was noted with the greatest attenuation observed during the winter when an average vertical attenuation of 0.13 db was measured. The trend seems to be well correlated with seasonal averages of surface barometric pressure. Summer attenuation in 1964 is compared with similar measurements made in 1946 in the same geographical area. (Author)
