The general area of research includes machine design, automata theory, and the application of mathematical models to problems in machine design. The areas of research in this report are divided into these four areas (1) automata theory and applications: (2) Theory of Algorithms; (3) System Analysis, and (4) Combinatorics and Switching Theory.
