Zusammenfassung: | Performance aids are items of auxiliary equipment or document provided to enhance on-the-job performance. military reports and psychological journals were surveyed to identify reports of research on the design of performance aids. Most research on this topic was done prior to 1958. No studies attempted to identify the significant variables in this design of aids. The preponderance of the work was concerned with developing and trying sample aids. Several studies indicated that procedural aids can facilitate troubleshooting performance. The extent to which other kinds of aids can facilitate performance of other kinds of tasks is unknown. An annotated bibliography is presented. (Author) |
