Zusammenfassung:	A study was made to determine the deflection characteristics of various dome closure contours under internal pressurization of rocket cases. Fabrication and test of models using the determined zero shear contour is discussed. Proc rement of dipped r bber liners was ecured for the contour test. Inspection of recent dome failures and the determination of factors effecting the design of a suitable scale model rocket case is described. (Author)
