Zusammenfassung: | As a medium-sized port and tourist city, Jijel is confronted with the challenge of attractiveness according to the national planning policy envisioned for 2030.The public authorities, which wish to elevate this port city to the rank of growth pole in the north-eastern Algerian region, have made enormous efforts to set up new and more innovative development strategies in order to achieve this objective. In addition, ambitious new projects have been launched in recent years in the various sectors, but the more structured ones have not been successful due to the lack of an attractive urban policy in this city. The latter suffers from other weaknesses in governance and urban management that require more rational and ordinary urgent interventions, but this can only be achieved through a strategy conceived within the framework of a comprehensive and integrated development policy, which should take into account all the dimensions of attractiveness (economic, social and urban). In this article, we will develop the use of the urban attractiveness project as a global and negotiated action to explain the solution that could ensure a sustainable development and territorial dynamics of this port city. |
