Zusammenfassung: | This paper examines the effects of material natural anisotropy of wood on stress concentration surrounding circular and elliptic holes. A thin anisotropic plate of wood was loaded with a constant pressure in one direction. The relationships between the stress components on the edge of the elliptic and circular holes were derived. For unloaded holes, normal stress values in small areas perpendicular to the edge of the hole were calculated. When calculating stress intensity, the relationships between the direction of applied pressure and the principal directions of elastic symmetry in spruce, ash, poplar, and oak wood were investigated. |
