Zusammenfassung:Acute Invasive Fungal Rhinosinusitis (AIFRS) is a life-threatening disease process which primarily affects immunocompromised patients. AIFRS can be complicated by angioinvasion and can cause arterial aneurysms. Arterial aneurysms secondary to AIFRS have been most commonly reported in the literature as occurring in the internal carotid artery, adjacent to the cavernous sinus. The following report details a case of middle cerebral artery aneurysm secondary to AIFRS, which has not been well-reported in the literature.
