Zusammenfassung: | In the current study, Clay incorporated RuO2 nanocomposite was prepared employing simple refluxing method. The synthesized Clay/RuO2 is then Characterized using XRD, SEM, FTIR, EDAX and UV-Visible spectroscopy. The results demonstrate that Clay/RuO2 can effectively facilitate the photocatalytic degradation of Methylene blue (95%) with excellent performance. An electrochemical analysis of the prepared material was conducted using graphite electrode paste in 3 M KCl electrolyte, revealing its remarkable redox potential output as determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Furthermore, the material revealed efficiency as a sensor for Cow urine, Cd and Hg sensors from an aqueous solution. Clay/RuO2 was also evaluated for its ability to detect these three sensors in an aqueous solution. The synthesized Clay/RuO2 nanocomposite was utilized for optical and antioxidant activity. The results revealed that it possesses effective free radical scavenging activity of approximately 91%, indicating strong antioxidant activity by showing IC50 value around 112.11 mg/mL. |
