Zusammenfassung: | The distinction, or separation at the level of the analysis, between discourse as the productive act which turns into discourse the semiotic structures (with a narrative character) and text, seen as its end-product, or material result, doesn’t seem fruitful. Their connection under the compound noun text-discourse could have the advantage of constituting a psycho-socio-linguistic category, which preserves and can exploit, in the description of meaning and the mechanisms of its production, the intimate relationship between the act which produces the text, the discourse seen as a machine, and its end-product, the text achieved in a semiotics which unites the conditions of producing, enunciating and interpreting meaning. |
