Zusammenfassung:This article results from a research funded by FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo), developed in the year of 2014. The survey aims to present the limits and contributions of non-school education developed by social educators of Núcleo de Atendimento Integrado de Sorocaba (NAIS), identifying the fundamentals and the perspectives that guide educational practices, which were investigated through semi-structured interviews. By knowing the educational reality experienced by young people assisted by NAIS, it is intend to contribute to the education developed by the institution and also signal alternatives that might qualify the non-school educational activities.
