Zusammenfassung:In this work there are presented some examples of the use of thermodynamic modeling to development of new alloys for different segments and applications. By the use of thermodynamic modeling coupled with numerical simulations of heat transport and mechanical simulations, it was possible to optimize the rolling and heat treatment routes in order to improve the properties of specialty steels and alloys. The use of the thermodynamic modeling it is also important to the development of new alloys which consider from its conception the process variables, simplifying the development of the new materials in the pilot and industrial scale.Original Abstract: Neste trabalho sao apresentados exemplos do uso da ferramenta de modelagem termodinamica aplicada ao desenvolvimento de novas ligas para diferentes segmentos e aplicacoes. Atraves do emprego da modelagem termodinamica acoplada a simulacoes numericas de transporte de calor e simulacoes mecanicas, foi possivel otimizar rotas de laminacao e tratamento termico de forma a se obter a melhoria de propriedades de acos e ligas especiais. O uso da ferramenta de modelagem termodinamica tambem e de fundamental importancia para o desenvolvimento de novas ligas, considerando deste o inicio do desenvolvimento as variaveis de processo e consequentemente simplificando o desenvolvimento tanto na escala piloto como industrial.
