Zusammenfassung:to investigate dietary intake levels of Saudi females with and without polycystic ovary syndrome)PCOS( and to evaluate their diet diversity and its relationship to visceral adiposity. The present case-control study included 90 PCOS patients and 90 healthy controls whose age and body mass index were matched. Data collected using a structured questionnaire including sociodemographic variables, medical history, food frequency questionnaire, and physical activity records. Anthropometric measures were taken and fasting blood samples were obtained for subsequent metabolic and hormonal assays. Lipid accumulation product and visceral adiposity index were significantly higher among patients with PCOS than their control counterparts (p  0.05).
