Zusammenfassung: | The article is dedicated to the revelation of the role of values in Chinese foreign policy-making at the current stage. The article begins with an examination of the meaning of the concept of “value” in the context of foreign policy. In an effort to identify the fundamental values of Chinese foreign policy, the author poses the following questions: What is being regarded as the value basis for Chinese foreign policy? How are these values reflected in China's foreign policy? Where does the policy based on this value system lead? The study focuses on three groups of values: traditional Chinese, Marxist and liberal values. As a result, the study reveals the ways in which the above-mentioned groups of values affect modern Chinese foreign policy. |
