A crise das narrativas é também a crise do sujeito em comunidade

Nesta obra, lançada em 2023 pela Editora Vozes, o autor discorre sobre o desaparecimento das narrativas autênticas na modernidade. Para Han, o excesso de informações que surge com as plataformas digitais ocasiona um consumo desenfreado de “narrativas” em mídias sociais, fenômeno que leva os indivíduos a perderem o senso de comunidade e de empatia entre si. This is a review of the book The Crisis of Narration by philosopher Byung-Chul Han. In this book, released in 2023 by Editora Vozes, the author discusses the disappearance of authentic narratives in modernity. For Han, the excess of information that comes with digital platforms leads to an unbridled consumption of “narratives” on social media, a phenomenon that causes individuals to lose their sense of community and empathy with each other.
