Detection of Far-Eastern subtype of tick-borne encephalitis viral RNA in ticks collected in the Republic of Moldova

Currently, I. ricinus, Dermacentor spp and Haemaphysalis spp ticks inhabit several regions of Moldova where ticks attack on humans, and positive seroconversion to TBEV in local population are reported12.
