As orthodontic revolve about the forces so FEM is one of the most accurate tools for the researchers in this ground. This review highlights the use of the finite element method in orthodontics and craniofacial research. This stores the different researches performed by using the finite element model to study the growth of the cranial structure, biomechanical reaction to orthopedic forces, orthodontic tooth movement, orthognathic surgeries application, and orthodontic implants
