Zusammenfassung:Background. The purpose of this article is to find the optimal material for the concentrator of ultrasonic vibrations for subsequent use in the processes of electric arc surfacing. Materials and methods. To achieve this purpose, concentrators with the same geometric characteristics of grades were manufactured: steel 40X, duralumin D16T, titanium VT3-1. The measurements were carried out on a piezoelectric transducer with a frequency of 19–24 kHz and a dial micrometric indicator with a division value of 0.001 mm. Results. The frequency dependences of the amplitude of mechanical vibrations of ultrasonic vibration (USV) concentrators have been established, the corresponding graphs have been plotted, and the most optimal material for the manufacture of an ultrasonic concentrator has been determined. Conclusions. Determination of the concentrator material is one of the main stages of research aimed at controlling the processes of ultrasonic shaping in electric arc surfacing.
