Zusammenfassung:Ameri et al present their study on the potential ability of the synthesized zeolite-based nanostructures for elimination of pyrvinium pamoate (PP) in the presence of UV light and H2O2. For this purpose, response surface methodology (RSM), a mathematical and statistical technique, was applied for the optimization of the removal process of PP and determines the optimum operational condition of the removal (%) by a predictive model. The obtained results confirmed the potential application of zeolite-based nanostructures in the presence of UV light radiation for elimination of the PP. However, more studies are needed to investigate the related mechanism(s) on this process and to identify the probable by-products.
