Annual CACUSS Conference June 2014 Highlights and Reflections

Conferences offer opportunities for innovation and renewal. Our attendance at the CACUSS conference in June 2014 provided reassurance that our ANZSSA University system is comprehensively nested within global best practice and change ready to promote student success in the 21st century. We see that Universities will move from an institutional to a student centric focus and that consequently there will be greater need to clarify and achieve alignment between policy, practice and deliverables. We predict an increasing focus on the University as a setting for integrated, holistic, and developmental learning goals and the associated requirement for the institutional setting to be a healthy community. We look forward to the challenges ahead.
