HUMAN DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE OF CEARÁ: a territorial analysis from the IDHM

The work aims to analyze the development of the state of Ceará, through an approach that explores the evolution of IDHM. We used descriptive exploratory methodology basing on secondary data from official agencies (IBGE; IPECE). The index shows a high improvement in the income questions, education and longevity - the latter two most prominent and education major transformation. There was a breakthrough throughout the state, especially the set of polarizers municipalities of the most dynamic areas as well as the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza. These municipalities were the main target of economic internalization guided in the agribusiness-industry-tourism tripod. It was revealed that even then, it was not possible to overcome the disparities framework, requiring other formulations aiming stagnant areas of the state
