A diversificação produtiva adotada pelos produtores fa-miliares das unidades de produção do município de passo fundo ao longo do tempo – uma estratégia de sustentabilidade

The study intended to understand the factors that induced transformations in rural properties in the city of Passo Fundo. By proposing a model of analysis that gathered together the tools derived from theories of production systems, typologies of productive units and analysis of trajectories, were reconstructed the main trajectories and strategies undertaken in the agricultural production units of the municipality. The production units were grouped and classified into four types, prevailing, in most of the cases, strong diversity in agricultural production with respect to marketing and family self-consumption.
