Zusammenfassung: | Nowadays the intense use of mobile smartphones, tablets, and laptops involves cutting-edge wireless technologies that require LTE advance or WLAN MIMO systems. With this ongoing increase of the IT domain, the antenna has to evolve as well toward smarter array systems to decrease the computational complexity especially at the user terminal (eNodeB). The current paper investigates some affordable yet efficient techniques that could suppress the side lobes for an array of eight elements, operating an advanced LTE base station. In this respect, a set of MATLAB functions computing the weighting coefficients and deliver their values (as RF gains) to the HFSS modeler for a more realistic evaluation. |
