Zusammenfassung:Research on cost-effective and efficient technology that can hold enormous amounts of heat or cold in a specific volume has been ongoing for a while. Due to its isothermal behaviour throughout the phase change process and high energy storage density, latent heat storage in phase change materials (PCM) is highly appealing. The incorporation of latent heat of storage in building materials considerably aids in the energy conservation of structures, which is a major role of thermal storage. By reducing the frequency of internal air temperature swings and keeping the indoor air temperature closer to the ideal temperature for longer periods of time, increasing the building's thermal storage capacity can improve human comfort. Nonetheless, a phase change material can be chosen to accommodate every type of weather in a certain area.
