Zusammenfassung: | The present article investigated and discussed the conceptions of graduates of a course in Natural Sciences in relation to the Nature of Science and the profile of the scientist in the scientific making, within the framework of a curricular component of experimentation in science teaching. It is a qualitative research, in which the data were collected through the application of a questionnaire and the construction of a class diary, which contributed to the understanding of the discourse of the research subjects. Through Content Analysis the results were systematized into two categories, of which: deformed vision about the nature of Science and the reductionist image of the scientist. The results pointed to an uncritical understanding of science, guided by a salvationist, reductionist and utilitarian view of scientific work, indicating the need to discuss and rethink the approach to such questions and how they are approached in teacher training. |
