Zusammenfassung: | This research paper aims to identify the aspects of identity that are present in the discourse employed by math teachers in the public school system. Researchers interviewed three teachers and recorded data on audio, which were then turned into transcriptions. The interviews, taken in their entirety, were used as the basis for this research. Results show that the identity of teachers in the public school system is found at the intersection of their planned actions with the actions actually executed in the classroom, thus representing a compromise between objectivity and subjectivity. |
