Zusammenfassung:This paper will reveal the psychological complications of the Captain, the main character of Strindberg's The Father. The writers are interested in inquiring what kinds of fixation and anxiety that the Captain undergoes, how he tries to solve his anxieties, and how he finally withdraws from reality.
