Zusammenfassung:	The aim of the investigations was optimize the process of triticale thermal preparation for the production of bioethanol. Yields of ethanol from triticale samples prepared at various temperatures (60, 70, and 90 deg C), were determined. Over the period 2005-2006, the quality and the processing potential for bioethanol production of three triticale varieties: Orion, NS-Triticale and Jutro were investigated.The results showed that triticale is a suitable raw material for bioethanol production. Preparation procedures conducted at 60 deg C are recommended because of energy savings.
