Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the article. To draw readers’ attention to the unique collection of medical journals, to find out the state of library and bibliographic processing of this resource. Research methodology. In order to achieve the goal, the methods of analysis and synthesis, descriptive, content analysis and historical were used. Scientific novelty. Featuresof origin, development, tasks and functioning of a number of Ukrainian medical editions are considered. These are "Kievskiy medsanrobotnik", "Kyivskyi medychnyi zhurnal", "Ukrainskya medichnya archiv". The analysis of the specified magazines on the maintenance, the quantitative characteristic, language, a thematic direction, a place of theedition, periodicity, etc. is carried out. Conclusions. It is stated that significant Ukrainian medical publications were aconvenient platform for medical professionals, well-known domestic scientists to publish the results of their researchin various fields of medicine, the diversity of unique material, their importance as an indispensable source in the historyof Ukrainian medicine in general. Based on our research and analysis, they have made a significant contribution to the dissemination and promotion of medical knowledge among the general population. Emphasis is placed on the need for careful library and bibliographic processing of these resources.
