Zusammenfassung:Given the long and continuous history of human settlements on the territory of Novi Sad, the human impact on the Danube?s coast configuration has been significant. Based on the field research and literature data regarding the Danube?s shoreline, from Cerevic to Cortanovci, a total number of 440 taxa classified into 224 genera and 68 families were registered. According to the number of species, the most abundant families were Asteraceae (51), Poaceae (49), Fabaceae (32) and Brassicaceae (28), while the most abundant genera were Carex (15), Rumex (10) and Euphorbia (8). Chorological analysis showed that 42% of the registered taxa belong to Eurasian floral element, 14% to Central European and 12% to Pontic-Southsiberian floral element, with special attention to alien plants with invasive character that included 24 taxa. The analysis of the life forms showed domination of hemicryptophytes (40%), followed by therophytes (27%) and phanerophytes (11%). nema
