Zusammenfassung: | Background. The main disadvantages of the known string transducers is their low sensitivity in the region of small values of the measured quantities. The purpose of the work is to research and improve the technical and operational characteristics of primary string converters for control systems for modern mobile equipment. Materials and methods. We used methods for solving hyperbolic equations of mathematical physics. Results. The dependences of the primary string transducer’s sensitivity on the design parameters and characteristics of the mechanical properties of the string, holder and membrane element are obtained in an analytical form. Conclusions. Due to the proposed changes in the design parameters and the material of the string sensing element, the primary string transducer’s sensitivity in the frequency range from 70 to 80 kHz can be doubled as compared to the serial analogue. |
