Zusammenfassung:Thermal protection of a missile’s structure is the basis for high - speed medium and long - range air - to - air missiles to complete their combat missions under severe ballistic aero - thermal conditions. Selection of thermal protective coating of the missile body is directly related to the development progress of model engineering project, technical index, maintenance support, and the formation of combat effectiveness. Combined with the practice of multiple model engineering projects, the special thermal protection coating selection, improvement and innovation for outer body of the air - to - air missiles, engineering application technologies such as the main tests of coating selection, result evaluation and test data utilization were discussed.
