Zusammenfassung:There is still a lack of sufficient evidence-based medical data on the effect of resveratrol (Res) on primary osteoporosis (OP). This meta-analysis aimed to comprehensively evaluate the role of Res in animal models of primary OP. The PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science and Embase databases were searched up to August 2023. The risk of bias was assessed by the SYRCLE RoB tool. Random- or fixed-effects models were used to determine the 90% confidence interval (CI) or standardized mean difference (SMD).
