Dinamika Penduduk Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jambi

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the population in the district / city in the province of Jambi which include the condition and development of the population quantity (amount, composition and distribution) as well as the quality of the population (education, health and poverty). Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative, using indicators of population. The results found: 1) The population of the province of Jambi relatively little with low density but with high inequality of the distribution of population among districts / cities; 2) Jambi Province is one of the areas in Indonesia with a relatively high population growth; 3) the age structure of the population in the province of Jambi is no longer belong to the young age structure, but do not meet the age structure of the old category; 4) Comparing with other provinces in Indonesia, education and health conditions of the population has been relatively adequate Jambi Province; 5) The level of poverty in the province of Jambi is relatively low compared nationally, with a decrease in the relatively faster.
