Zusammenfassung:Abstract Microvillus inclusion disease is a congenital enteropathy that causes total, irreversible intestinal failure in the first days of life. This report presents a 3-day-old girl with severe metabolic acidosis and hypernatremic dehydration. Her secretory diarrhea was misidentified as urine because it was clear. An intestinal biopsy led to the definitive diagnosis.
