Zusammenfassung: | Whereas the internship preceptor has an important role in vocational training,this study aimed to analyze the exercise of preceptor in training of occupational therapist in a public university of the Northeast. For this, was performed a field study, with qualitative approach, whose production of data it occurred by means of semi structured interview with 9 professionals. All datas were analyzed using the content analysis technique which allowed to identify three thematic categories, being them: Formation pedagogical for the exercise of preceptory; Role of the preceptor of internship; and, The preceptory and the process of teaching-learning. It was observed that the preceptory is performed based on professionalspractical experience, without any capacitation preview. Even so, attributed to their roles the function of guiding, mediating and facilitating the process of teaching-learning and that, for this they usually adopt posture that grant freedom of intervention for trainees, without leaving aside the moments of discussion of this acting. It is concluded that despite the exercise of preceptory have been well highlighted, it is must that these professionals reflect on the importance of their youracting and foment in institutions the need for qualification for the exercise of preceptory. |
