Zusammenfassung: | This paper compares results used by two methodological research inquiries. The first one is the questionnaire used by the INSEE « life stories » survey. The second consists of face-to-face interviews with the participants to the INSEE’s survey. The comparison between the two methods shows some interesting outcomes in terms of knowledge gains. However, this is not always the case. More importantly, truth and the coherence of the speech are less at stake here than the nature of the response or the knowledge’ status. |
